Due Date- Monday, March 15- "Survivor!" Whether you're a Survivor fan or not, you can do this homework assignment! If you were a contestant on Survivor, what would be your strong suit -what would you contribute- would you be the provider, the negotiator, the mother hen, etc... ? And what would be your downfall? Ex- too bossy, can't swim well, couldn't live with bugs... What 'luxury item' would you bring? What modern convenience would you miss most? Think "stranded on a desert island..." and take it from there!
If I were a contestant on Survivor, I think you all know what my role would be: I'd be the organizer, the planner and I'd be striving to unite the tribe. I would try to have fun and would work to make our tribe a fun-loving group. I would definitely work hard and carry my share of the load. I'm pretty athletic and would probably do well at the challenges. I am not a fussy eater and would have no problem eating whatever I had to.
I would have a problem if the men in the tribe expected me to do traditional female chores. I would want to be out in the ocean trying to spear fish. This would probably be my downfall because I would ruffle the feathers of strong alpha males, like Rob and Lex. They would probably want to get rid of me real quick!
My other weakness would be living outdoors in the elements round the clock. I'm a pretty good camper, but those conditions are just too rough. Mosquitoes love me and I would go crazy if I had all those bites all over me. I love the sun and tan easily so that wouldn't be a problem but I don't do well in the wind and rain and that would probably sap my energy and dampen my spirits.
My luxury item would have to be something to do with my hair. I'm never quite content unless I'm having a good hair day. I would probably bring my butane curling iron. If they wouldn't allow that, I'd have to have my hair braided like Alicia so I wouldn't have to fuss over it. So, if I did that, my next choice for a luxury item would have to be a razor. I am not the "earthy" type!
The modern convenience I would miss most is television! Can you imagine me without seeing the finale of Sex and the City or not knowing who The Donald fired on The Apprentice? I wouldn't know who wins American Idol or what happens on the series finale of Friends! Just thinking about it makes me need a Mai Tai!
