Extra Credit: "Holiday Howdy" How much fun would it be to hear all of our classmate's voices?! Record a holiday greeting and post it on your homework page or blog. Don't hold back! Use your best Southern drawl, your stuffiest British accent, your Texas twang... I'll use my California valley girl voice!

If you don't have a microphone for your computer, they are very inexpensive. As an alternative, there is a website that allows you to phone in a message and they will email the sound clip back to you. I was having problems accessing the site but you might give it a try and see if it works for you. Any other technical suggestions would be appreciated. :) Here's the site:

Alternative Extra Credit: If you can't make the Holiday Howdy work, just "show and tell" anything you'd like about your holiday happenings.

Due Date: Wednesday, November 15- "Falling for Autumn" Living in Southern California all my life, I never really understood the obsession with autumn that so many people have. But after a recent October trip to Colorado, I finally get it! So, tell me what it is about this time of year that you love so much? Tell us about the harvest season or holiday traditions in your corner of the world. Maybe share a favorite fall recipe that puts you in that autumnal spirit. Do you live in a place that has gorgeous fall colors? Share a photo so we can all be leaf peepers. If you celebrate Thanksgiving, share the must have items for your family dinner. Celebrate Guy Fawke's Day? Educate us about that. Let's celebrate this bountiful time of year. Thanks to Sadie and Connie for these homework suggestions.
