~ Welcome to my Garden ~

Our home is located in Agoura Hills, California, which is just inland from Malibu Beach and northwest, about a 30 minute drive, of Los Angeles. We are blessed with lots of sunshine and moderate temperatures so gardening and outdoor activities are a year round affair.

We've recently taken an interest in feeding birds and are enjoying drawing them to our backyard with delectable treats. Visit our birds page to see our various feeders, birdhouses and birdbaths.

This year we are also growing some vegetables in pots. Having two golden retrievers who like to participate in the gardening and digging, we find pots a good idea. We are growing tomatoes and serrano peppers. Along with our cilantro, we have the makings of salsa.

Another favorite outdoor activity is barbecuing and dining on the patio. We've recently added some solar garden lights that illuminate our waterfall at night. We also love our new patio dining furniture. Since our home is a trilevel we have a split-level backyard. Combine that with our balcony and we have three ways to be in our backyard. We are also growing herbs and if you click on herbs on the menu it will take you to a special page all about our herbs. We are growing coriander (cilantro,) basil, purple basil, dill and rosemary.
